Mineral Deposit

The life of a mine does not start the day that production begins, but many years before, when the company sets out to explore for mineral deposit. A good deal of time and money is spent simply looking for, locating and qualifying a promising mineral occurance. Not many will be found and not many of the ones found will have the potential to become mines. It is not unusual to spend five to ten years sesarching for mineable deposit.
